In order to ensure the site’s sustainable performance, conformity with the Netcare principles, the Netcare Cuyler Hospital General Manager is responsible for the leadership of the business unit and the site ExCo, and the promotion of an inclusive and empowered culture.
Additionally, the incumbent is in charge of creating and carrying out the hospital strategy in accordance with Netcare’s strategic themes.
The incumbent will also be in charge of scanning and analyzing macro and micro environments in order to drive the implementation of plans that will take advantage of opportunities and minimize risks to the company.
In order to achieve business growth and business unit sustainability, the incumbent will be in charge of creating and improving relationships with current medical physicians and coordinating with a complex network of stakeholders.

Education
• A 3-year bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a comparable degree that is equivalent to NQF level 7.

• At least five years of experience in a senior management role, ideally in the healthcare or service industries.
• Proven capacity for creating senior strategic alliances.
• The capacity to increase market share and/or achieve corporate goals.
• The capacity to make business presentations to stakeholders and senior executives.
